So we're back at the hospital this weekend. The pain in Grant's legs came back which was very discouraging since that was the whole reason we had the surgery in the first place. He was also having some other more serious problems that I shall spare you the details of. The doc called us on a Saturday (yeah that doesn't happen too often) and told us to come to the E.R. for an MRI. We did so, and he came later that night and talked to us for an hour and a half about all the different possibilities of what could be going on until our heads were spinning. He told Grant to stay in the hospital so he could keep an eye on his vitals. The next day things were getting worse and the doc said he'd like to go in again to see what was going on. Turns out there's no infection, but normal fluid had collected and created a pocket of pressure on his spine again. He inserted a drain and closed him up. So now we're starting over with the healing process.
I'm grateful for the doctor's hard work and I'm pretty hopeful that Grant will start feeling much better this time.

Seriously, what do we need to do to keep you two out of the hospital? I'm glad that the problem could be corrected, and I hope Grant starts to feel much better soon. I love you guys!
