Uggh! I can tell this baby is going to be just as stubborn as me, or worse, her father! No matter what I say, she won't listen. I try to tell her that it's okay, she's full grown and can come out now, but she seems to be quite cozy and content. I guess she technically has 13 more days to go, but I just can't wait to see her.
Her room's ready, the clothes are washed, the crib is up, the bags are packed, and the camera's are charged up. The anticipation is completely unbearable. But it's a little bitter sweet to reach the end of this pregnancy, so I thought I would write a few thoughts, before I'm too busy or forget.
What I'll miss about being pregnant:
Not having my monthly gift - halleluja!
Having an excuse to eat more! One for me, one for her!
Having her with me every second of the day, even at work.
The little kicks and gurgles in my stomach all the time. Especially the daily hiccups.
The glow! I know it's strange, but I have felt the most womanly during this time.
All the attention, sometimes overwhelming, but nice to feel the love.
The little tingly sensation I get that her spirit is close by and watching.
What I won't miss:
Maternity clothes, especially constantly tugging my pants up.
Back aches and general all over aches and pains.
The never ending urge to pee.
Having to tell people my due date 100 times a day. Really I should just wear a countdown sign.
Doctors visits - getting old!
Being tired all the time. (I guess that might be a challenge for a while though!)
I can't wait to have a big turkey sub or a hot dog. It's been so long!
Anyway, I'm ready for the next step. If she would only hurry!

If you're lucky, your monthly gift could stay away for a while still. Mine didn't come back for 9 months after giving birth. That was lovely. Hope all goes well and she starts cooperating with your wishes. Happy pushing!
Yippee skippee... she's almost born! Where's your pics of your cute, big belly?! I told Wayne you were almost due and he said, "already?" Aren't you glad it went by quick for him... cha! :)
This is just SO COOL! I'm so excited for you that she'll be here so soon. The wait can be excruciating though. All I can say is PAMPER YOURSELF. Relax as much as you can. I love your stinkin' guts and I'll be praying for you guys during this special time!
