She's Here!

The baby is sleeping.....and I sent my other baby off to an afternoon matinee! I finally have a few minutes to myself!

Ella is finally here. After 24 hours of wondering if my water broke, I went to the hospital and they got contractions started. 12 hours later I still wasn't fully dialated and her heart rate was going down, so I ended up having a c-section. Now she's here and I couldn't be happier. It's no wonder they write so many country songs about having babies. I already have a hard time remembering what life was like before her. It's amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything....even a good nights sleep. Every choice, every decision, my life has led up to this. Yes I've become one of those women, who's whole life will revolve around her children. Oh well, there are worse things right!

So here's a few pics from this crazy amazing week. Born 7 lbs 7 oz, 20 1/2 inches. She seems to be perfectly healthy and I am recovering just fine.

So so so cute!! Congrats! She is a doll, I can't wait to see her! And being a woman whose life revolves around her kids...not a bad thing. =) Pretty sure it's meant to be that way.

PS - "One of those women whose life revolves around her children"... I felt the same way the moment I had my baby, and now I know WHY women revolve their life around their children. Isn't it incredible? Beyond words. I wouldn't trade it for the entire world.
