Grant and I are officially back in B-Town. I never thought this would be my life, but we found some people to rent our house, and we've officially moved into my parents basement. Grant's still not doing too good, and he's probably not going to be able to go back out on patrol. I love my parents, and in some ways it's kind of fun living with them again. But there's a big part of me that also feels very very defeated. I just hope this gives Grant the chance to go back to school and work on starting a new career.

E!News: Ella's now 9 months, but she's already wearing 12 month clothes. She's very busy and wants to be everywhere and see everything! Cute Story: we went out to dinner the other night and took Ella with us. We settled her in her high chair, just as some other people came walking by. She reached out to touch them as they walked behind her, but Grant grabbed her hand and pulled her away after the first few. We didn't pay much attention to their faces. When we were more settled and waiting for our dinner, Grant stopped talking and said, that's an Apostle over there. Sure enough there was Elder Ballard sitting with the group of people who just walked by. We see a lot of church leaders around these parts, Elder Eyring lives blocks away from my parents, but we were a little surprised we hadn't recognized him as he was walking right by us. I like to think that Ella knew someone very special was walking by her, and I like to think that's why she reached out to him, and I like to think that she actually did touch him, and that by doing so she felt a little of God's love! And shame on us for trying to stop her! That's how I'll tell her the tale in the future anyway!

What a sweet story about Ella! But I'm sad about Grant's difficulties. I wish we could do something to help!! Hopefully we'll at least get to see you sometime when we're visiting!
