In other news, we had kind of a funny event at our house the other night. Danny and Randy came up to borrow the truck and to pick up a couch that Michelle and Randy want to store at our place. The truck has been sitting at the side of our house for a few months, unloved and undriven. I got it started and warmed it up, then Danny attempted to drive it through a snowbank where it promptly gave up the ghost and got stuck. It sat there hanging partially in the street and awkwardly across the sidewalk for a day, until Dad came up and had it towed. Needless to say, I don't think anyone was too happy about the situation. But we got through it without any cross words at each other, which I think is an enormous achievement. Hopefully the truck will be fine in a few days. Notice Grant watching on in shorts and flipflops in 20 degree weather, already sick with a cold. Silly man!

That's funny, but I'm sure it was frustrating! Both mom and I think your baby is a boy, and now Grant does so you're doomed. He's going to be so cute! I'm glad you're starting to feel better, too.
Hearing the baby's heartbeat is so reassuring I think. How are you feeling?
That's too bad that the truck caused problems. I know that I take it for granted when things work properly everyday. I totally forget to be grateful until the car breaks down or needs mega repairs.
