So I used to do this thing for my Dad called "Sarah's CD of the month." I would pick a theme and fill a disc with all kinds of stuff. I've done Disco, Celtic, Hip Hop, Oldies, 80's....and on and on. It kind of fell by the wayside when I had Ella, but I've been trying to get back in the habit cause it was kind of fun and good bonding with my Dad.
But every time I log on to Amazon with credit card in hand, no inspiration comes. I'm completely blocked. It's strange because I've always had a list a mile long of Albums and Tunes I've wanted to download, but now I can't find anything worth my time or money. Maybe I'm more careful about what I listen to or what I buy. I've also uttered those infamous words that betray my increasing age....."The music these days!" I really truly don't get it. I don't recognize the bands and artists. I end up getting some Classical or Jazz, which I love but doesn't exactly pep you up for a hard day's work ahead.
So I know it's not exactly a deep philosophical question, but what's on your playlists these days? Old, new, rock, pop.....whatever! As long as it's fun!

I'm loving The Muse - but I don't have their CD, so I don't know if it's all good. Also...a throw-back, Julie London, such a great jazz artist! Love. And Weezers old and new stuff.
I'm loving John Legend, Eric Benet and Michael Buble - ALL AWESOME ARTISTS WITH AWESOME SONGS!
I'm working on compiling my all time favorite list on the right side of my blog. I really like Michael Buble right now. :0)
Oh, one more thing, I've been getting back into some old soundtracks lately. The latest Pride and Prejudice Soundtrack has some awesome instrumental stuff. And my all time favorite soundtrack would be Remember the Titans.
